client server application that provides online real-time patient scheduling
(JSP/Servlets) and an office based appointment scheduling, patient history, and
patient tracking application written in Java (Swing, JDO) running against a MySql
database. Developed an interface
to external systems utilizing the HL7 (Health Level 7) standard.

á Imagitek, LTD - Documentum content management
application development using the DocumentumÕs WDK (a Java Servlets/JSP based
Web Development Kit). Contracted
with DocumentumÕs QA team to support the pre-release testing of WDK and
participated with the WDK 4.2 Beta Program. Developed a web-based XML authoring tool that is fully
integrated with Documentum and numerous other custom components (WDK, Xerces,
Servlets, JSP). Technical lead for
object modeling, repository design, XML application development, data
migration, and WDK customization services for clients of Imagitek.
á Design at Work - E-Commerce and web site development
(Java Servlets/JSP, Javascript, HTML, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Cybercash MCK)

Developed numerous applications and web based tools including:
á Re-engineered a courseware tracking system used to
track products, user licenses, and monitor usage of CBT courses. This product was developed using java
Servlets running on Apache/Jakarta-tomcat. Ported the application to run on numerous database back ends
(Oracle, SQL Server, Access, and MySql) and operating systems (Solaris, Linux,
and NT). Developed installation
package using java and Install Anywhere for the client hosted tracking system.
á Hardware History Retrieval System used by the
International Space Station program to catalog scanned documents generated by
the program. This application was designed to run across the Internet and
written in Java AWT, and JDBC running against Oracle (Solaris).
á Developed numerous tools including a JDBC driver for
Oracle (JDBC 1.0 compliant client and extensible middleware server), JavaBeans
for developing database applications (in AWT and Swing), and an early (1995)
Web based application server (generated HTML forms for Oracle applications).
á Numerous smaller web site applications developed in
Cold Fusion and PERL against SQL Server, Oracle, and MySql.

Information Systems Analysis Contract at NASA-JSC. Responsible for utilizing early web technologies
(CGI/HTML/Javascript) to develop web based database (Oracle) applications.
Responsible for design and
development of UNIX tools, and processes to support automated data conversion
and integration with the International Space Station Alpha (ISSA) Bulletin
Board (BB). Designed the process,
located and installed free UNIX software tools, and developed scripts, to
implement the file conversion from Macintosh and PC environments, to hypertext
scripts and GIF images that are displayed on the ISSA BB.
I-NET, Inc. Programmer
Analyst

Responsible for design,
rapid prototypes, and development of tools to support British PetroleumÕs
Network Control Center in Houston.
Developed the GUI interface for an application that interfaces with the
Network Management System to automatically relay critical SNMP alerts to
on-call technicians via pager or email.
Developed the Client portion of a Client/Server application that
displays Network, Help Desk, and other messages on a remote X windows
terminals. This message station
application is completely user configurable to provide multiple views and
filtering of incoming messages.
Developed a server for point of sale terminals that accepts requests for
debit transactions, reformats and logs these requests, and interfaces an
Electronic Banking System to obtain approval for these requests. This position requires the use of C,
TCL/TK, and UNIX shell scripts.
Responsible for the design
and development of the Configuration Management module of the Management
Technical Information System (MTIS) at NASA/JSC. This subsystem tracks all the workstation configurations,
including software, internal components, and network connections. Responsible for the analysis, and design
of the Telephone System Configuration, the Network Configuration, and the Data
Systems Configuration. Responsible
for the design and development of the Maintenance Management and the Property
Management modules of MTIS.
Extensive experience in re-hosting applications, integration and
interfacing with other subsystems, and data conversion. This position required
the conversion of non-relational DBMS to Oracle 7.0 and Forms 4.0.

application for use by the Payload Integration Department at NASA/JSC. This software allowed managers and
payload engineers to interactively develop payload integration agreements with
Shuttle customers. Was responsible
for coding, testing, and writing software requirements, detail design, and user
guides.

applications (Clipper/Rbase) for internal use and as deliverable products for
customers.
